Aidan's been asking me for two sandwiches for lunch lately, so today I made him a double-decker pb&j. He thought it was the greatest thing. Then he got a brilliant idea for a double-decker cheeseburger. When I told him that there was already such a thing and that it was called a Big Mac he was floored. Then he asked if it came with a toy. I'm grateful for things my kids say that make me smile.

222: The invention of the Big Mac
Aidan's been asking me for two sandwiches for lunch lately, so today I made him a double-decker pb&j. He thought it was the greatest thing. Then he got a brilliant idea for a double-decker cheeseburger. When I told him that there was already such a thing and that it was called a Big Mac he was floored. That is quite the sandwhich! He's a hungry boy!
He must be in a growing spurt. next thing you know, the pants you just bought him for school will be to short by the time school starts.
Now I'm thinking Big Macs don't have cheese. I was singing the song in my head. I've never had one. I know there are double-decker cheeseburgers out there.
2 all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, CHEESE, pickles, onions, on a sesame seed bun.
Menutia
Aww crud! Guess I didn't know the song. Maybe I should just go order one.
I had one and threw up in July of1976. It took a LONG time to ever eat one again. Maybe that's why I remember the song.
