Hello, my name is Shauna. I photograph everything and everyone. I was formally educated in zoology as a wildlife biologist and ecologist but my current full-time occupation has me doing laundry, washing dishes, playing at the park, scrubbing toilets, cooking meals and packing lunches, kissing owies, helping with homework, building Lego castles, balancing the budget, mowing the lawn, planning picnics, cleaning up vomit, volunteering for the PTA, and booking the occasional vacation.

This is a really fun picture. I love long grass. It makes me sad when it is cut short.
I thought they were perennial flowers coming up.
I'm not sure what it's called, but it's not lawn grass. It gets stalks of small purple flowers.
