So, I sat by the tree for probably 20 minutes waiting for someone to visit the feeder, but I kept spooking them. It wasn't until I moved over to the bushes and could be more sneaky that this chickadee came in. I was hoping for one of the cardinals, but this will do. Aidan and I have been working on identifying bird calls. I'm grateful for kids that enjoy birding almost as much as I do.

I did the same thing last week! That is funny! Next I am going to try to get some of the humming birds that are invading our yard.
Funny - I did it over the weekend too! My neighbors made fun of me for stalking birds. And we have the same feeder as you, I think!
And holy cow, that is a good picture!!!
This is such a great picture it almost looks like stock photography.
