So at Aidan's physical last year the Dr. said if he keeps his "night pants" dry for 5 nights in a row he doesn't need them anymore. I never pushed the issue. I figured when he's ready he's ready, although I had the sneaking suspicion that sometimes he just didn't want to get out of bed to use the bathroom. About a week-and-a-half ago we ran out of "night pants" and I just didn't buy anymore. We had several nights of accidents with interspersed dry nights. Then one day, out of the blue, Aidan asks me "If I keep my night pants dry for 5 nights can I get doughnuts?" I said, sure, I'll even get you a whole box and you can choose all the flavors. Well, here we are, SIX dry nights later, celebrating. I'm grateful for a determined child and "Hot Doughnuts Now."
