150

Yep, that's dust all over my chandelier crystals.  I absolutely hate dusting this thing.  It takes so long.  I only do it about twice a year.  As I was dusting this today and thinking about how much I dislike it I was reminded of when I volunteered to help get the Albuquerque temple ready for the open house and I was assigned help clean the crystals on the chandelier in the Celestial Room.  It took several hours for 4 of us to do it.  That made my chore today seem less tedious and a little bit enjoyable.  I'm grateful that our temples are so amazingly beautiful and for those that keep them that way.

I always wonder how they clean the chandeliers in the temple. So how did you do it? One crystal at a time?

Yes. We had to take them down one by one, clean it, and lay them all out in order. Then once the whole thing was clean they were all put back on in the same order.

Wow! That is a lot of work, no wonder they are always so sparklie and look so clear in the temple.

Now I know why I don't have crystal chandeliers. They're a lot of work!

That is so incredibly cool that you got to help do that.

I wondered about that too. We just vacuumed when we helped clean.

It's a cool picture. Now, I wonder what the rest looks like. :)

Did you guys here the announcements of the 3 new Temples in Arizona? one of them will be just 4 miles east of us. Over close by Satan's village, Dragon.
We are thrilled, and can't wait to clean the chandeliers and vacuum.

Is there really a place called Satan's village?

No, but it might as well be. It is actually Santan Village Mall and all the buildings are BLACK. I had just glanced at the sign when I noticed the buildings. So I blurted out something about it being Satan's Village. (Can't spell, can't read either) Can you believe that someone would actually make the buildings black anywhere. Black buildings in Arizona is crazy.
