They sure reduce the amount of time it takes to get to where the rest of the family is so that the fun can begin. 3-4 days driving to get there sure takes a bit out of vacation time even though it can be fun see all those 'places of interest' along the way.
Hello, my name is Shauna. I photograph everything and everyone. I was formally educated in zoology as a wildlife biologist and ecologist but my current full-time occupation has me doing laundry, washing dishes, playing at the park, scrubbing toilets, cooking meals and packing lunches, kissing owies, helping with homework, building Lego castles, balancing the budget, mowing the lawn, planning picnics, cleaning up vomit, volunteering for the PTA, and booking the occasional vacation.

This made me think of flying back from FL with you guys and Adian was little and I got to hold him.
I had completely forgotten about that! Thanks for the reminder.
It is nice to get someplace faster than the week drive.
