As Rick and I were decorating the cake today I was wondering to myself why I go to all the trouble. Seeing the ecstatic look on Aidan's face and hearing him "Wow" when he came home and saw it was all the answer I needed. Happy Birthday kiddo. I'm grateful for birthday celebrations.

I have asked the same question and found the same answer. I just loved the cakes my Mom would make when I was growing up. I remember them more than the gifts. Cool cake!
