This monster built its web right outside the kitchen window a couple days ago. Today I watched a bug get stuck in the web. The spider immediately ran over and wrapped it up. That was cool. I've never seen that before. It left the bug for a couple minutes. Then it went over and finished it off. I'm grateful for natural insect control.

That's so cool! I want to show my kids (we're studying & making a spider quilt this week)!
How do you make a spider quilt?
Cool picture. Is it still there?
Each student made a square and drew their spider and web, then their other square is using shapes in a pattern. I can't think of what it is right now. Duhhh It's all out of paper. Although, a quilt out of webs and bugs would be much cooler!
That made me shudder after I read it! Cool picture!
