Aidan and I went to the plant nursery to pick out flowers for Dad's memory garden. We decided to make a butterfly garden. I think it's only fitting since Dad knew all about bugs and plants. We picked up a few hitchhikers on our plants. This is a black swallowtail butterfly caterpillar. The boys are anxiously waiting for it to make a chrysalis. I'm grateful the boys enjoy nature as much as me.

That is awesome that he was hanging around on one of the plants you bought!
That's an awesome picture. Your memory garden sounds neat and a sweet tribute.
What a great idea. What kind of plant is that?
Dill, I think. Word is that these guys like to eat herbs: dill, fennel, parsley, chives,
Cool! That's a neat thing to have happen and I love the idea of a memory garden. Will it come out during the fall if it makes a chrysalis or will it be spring when it comes out?
What a great picture! A memory garden sounds so nice.
