Book Club was at my house this month. We usually manage to talk about the book for a few minutes. I'm grateful for a few hours of laughing out loud and talking with friends.
Hello, my name is Shauna. I photograph everything and everyone. I was formally educated in zoology as a wildlife biologist and ecologist but my current full-time occupation has me doing laundry, washing dishes, playing at the park, scrubbing toilets, cooking meals and packing lunches, kissing owies, helping with homework, building Lego castles, balancing the budget, mowing the lawn, planning picnics, cleaning up vomit, volunteering for the PTA, and booking the occasional vacation.

What book did you read for the club this month?
Tears of the Giraffe by Alexander McCall Smith. It's the second in a series. The first was the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency. Light, fun books.
oh that looks good!
How fun. I'd love to do a book club. Is this one of this mini Enrichment-type activities?
Ugh. I hate when I make typos. I meant to say: "Is this one of those mini Enrichment-type activities?"
It started out as an Enrichment group, but we decided it was best if we went unofficial ...
What kind of frosting is that?
Just want you to know...I dreamt about frosting last night.
I don't know. Someone else brought the cupcakes. Maybe you should dream about it some more and the recipe will come to you. ;-p
:)
Me and Gpa watched movies from the cabin (with you guys) yesterday. I miss you guys. :(
