My baby is now one. Rick laughed when he saw all the pink. He said, "I think you're gonna have a lot of fun with a little girl." I'm grateful for simple, family birthday celebrations.
Hello, my name is Shauna. I photograph everything and everyone. I was formally educated in zoology as a wildlife biologist and ecologist but my current full-time occupation has me doing laundry, washing dishes, playing at the park, scrubbing toilets, cooking meals and packing lunches, kissing owies, helping with homework, building Lego castles, balancing the budget, mowing the lawn, planning picnics, cleaning up vomit, volunteering for the PTA, and booking the occasional vacation.

Pretty cake! Is that fondant?
BTW, I can't believe she's one already!
She grew too fast!!! Wow! one already?!?!
Was it easy to use that frosting stuff? I have always wanted to try it.
Sweeeeeeeeeet! It's amazing she's already 1. I love the shade of pink you used.
Happy Birthday Sophie!! Very cute cake. Do you have any leftovers?
The fondant was easy to use, but I can't eat it. I can't get past the texture. It's like eating gum.
I love her cake. I have to agree fondant is fun to look at, but I can't eat it either.
