Just wondering what lens you used or if you touched up the photo....I am researching getting a new lens so I am just trying to get the low down on different pictures and such.
I took this with a 28-100mm f/3.5-5.6G that I borrowed from Rick's work. It retails for about $129. I did blur out the bg a little bit more and lighten her eyes in photoshop.
The lens I rented for our UT trip was a 24-70mm f/2.8. It retails for about $1,500. Still dreaming about this one.
I just got a 50mm f/1.8 and my next few posts will likely have been taken with this one. It's supposed to be ideal for portraits. I'm super excited with how well it takes indoor shots without a flash. It was $109.
Don't forget to go thru the Amazon link on Kimberly's 'Beaker's Buddies' site on the 'The Closetkids'. She gets a bit of $ for every sale that uses her link to get to Amazon and it doesn't increase the cost of what you buy.
Hello, my name is Shauna. I photograph everything and everyone. I was formally educated in zoology as a wildlife biologist and ecologist but my current full-time occupation has me doing laundry, washing dishes, playing at the park, scrubbing toilets, cooking meals and packing lunches, kissing owies, helping with homework, building Lego castles, balancing the budget, mowing the lawn, planning picnics, cleaning up vomit, volunteering for the PTA, and booking the occasional vacation.

I've been wondering what that lens you rented last summer was, too.
I still can't believe that's Sophie. She looks like such a big girl and has so much hair.

Are you kidding? I didn't know that. I'll have to find that link. She'd be rich if I'd known that the past few years. ;) SHOOT!
