New Year's Eve pinata loot. Another tradition that I'm grateful for. Mom and I were trying to figure out how and when this family tradition started. If you remember, let me know. I'm grateful for having a fun record in photos of some of the little things that happened in my life this year.

The earliest pinata picture I have is from Christmas Eve 1983. I think the tradition started when one of us made a pinata for a school project, and we just decided to break it open.
But, I could be wrong...
