What a day. First thing we find out Aidan has a snow day from school, but there's no snow. Next, we watch the inauguration of our new president. It was neat trying to explain to Aidan and Oliver that they were watching history in the making. Then, I see liquid oozing from Aidan's ear and realize he has an ear infection and take him to urgent care. Then while waiting at the pharmacy to pick-up antibiotics, I get a call from Wade telling me Mom has had a stroke and was taken to the emergency room. Immediately I go into stress, worry, "what can I do?" mode. Next thing I know, I'm buying a plane ticket. I grateful for for the strength I will gain from this experience.
