Fort Wilderness is in the Disney World complex. And if you want to camp with us, I need to know when your kids get out of school for the summer. And if you're going to camp. And I need to know as soon as possible because I am making reservations NOW.
Not the animal kind! A couple of swimming pools and lake side beach across from the Magic Kingdom, bicycle, canoe, and speed boats rentals, petting zoo, nightly outdoor Disney movies, Chip 'n Dale, petting zoo, Clydesdale barn, people bring their own bikes, skates, etc and skate through the campground. Buses to take if you don't want to walk. Transportation to the nearby water parks, Disney Kingdoms, the Hoopedeedo Review, a cafeteria if you don't want to cook, a 'trading post w/ grocery and souvenirs, etc..... You never have to leave the campground to be entertained!
Oh, and I forgot! The nightly Magic Kingdom fireworks show. They also have cabins to rent in the campground. They use to be Winnebagos but I think that's changed so I'm not sure what they are now.
Hello, my name is Shauna. I photograph everything and everyone. I was formally educated in zoology as a wildlife biologist and ecologist but my current full-time occupation has me doing laundry, washing dishes, playing at the park, scrubbing toilets, cooking meals and packing lunches, kissing owies, helping with homework, building Lego castles, balancing the budget, mowing the lawn, planning picnics, cleaning up vomit, volunteering for the PTA, and booking the occasional vacation.

What a fabulous picture!!!
You're seeing Mom this summer?! Are you coming to Florida? Or are you talking about a camping trip?
Can we come, too!?!
I'm talking about our camping trip at Ft. Wilderness and also going to Mom's.
I didn't know it was at Ft. Wilderness. Are we invited, too?! We've been wanting to camp there. Wow, that's going to be a LONG drive for you guys.
Not that much longer than going to the Smokies.
When is Ft. Wilderness? Is it an open invite?
