Looking at this picture makes me think of the brown, dry landscape of the SW U.S. I hope I never take all this green for granted. I'm thankful for green.
yes please don't ever take it for granted. The brown over here is killing me! We're in a drought and I keep reminding myself that San Diego is actually desert even though it is near the ocean. I miss the green you all have over there.
Hello, my name is Shauna. I photograph everything and everyone. I was formally educated in zoology as a wildlife biologist and ecologist but my current full-time occupation has me doing laundry, washing dishes, playing at the park, scrubbing toilets, cooking meals and packing lunches, kissing owies, helping with homework, building Lego castles, balancing the budget, mowing the lawn, planning picnics, cleaning up vomit, volunteering for the PTA, and booking the occasional vacation.

I am just glad that we are having a VERY wet start to summer.....the mountains are still green! Amazing!
