I had Grandpa all to myself when I had to say goodbye. It was so. hard. He said, "We shouldn't have to say goodbye like this." We both cried. We hugged. Both of us knowing this will be the last time we see each other. I hope I was able to convey how much I love him, and how much he means to me, even though I couldn't tell him with words. I'm grateful that I was able to grow up knowing my grandfather and for all the memories I have of him.
