359: Bad Santa!

I woke up at 6:00 this morning and laid in bed wondering when in the world the kids would wake up. It seemed to take them forever! Guess I was a little excited. They finally rolled out of bed around 7:30. I stayed in bed pretending to not want to get up and let them go downstairs. It was fun listening to them check out each others gifts.

After a long day the kids were in bed. I could hear Oliver say to Aidan, "That bad Santa! He didn't bring me Aqua Sand." That made me laugh. I guess it's a hard lesson to learn, but Santa doesn't always bring everything we want. I talked to many friends whose kids also wanted stuff off the commercials from Qubo: Aqua Sand, Bendaroos, the toothpaste dispenser. Oh, that toothpaste dispenser! It makes me laugh. I'm grateful for a quiet Christmas morning at home with my family.
