I'm always surprised when I find something new. Things just spring up overnight. I'm grateful for broccoli and for kids that will eat it right out of the garden.

My brocoli looks so sad this year...=(
OK, they tried it, but they won't eat it now. It tastes peppery, kind of like radishes. Cooking it tames it pretty well, but it's weird. Maybe I picked it too late?
