The last couple times I have sat at the table when Rick has made dinner there weren't any veggies. His response is always, "I couldn't find any." Really?!? Maybe he suffers from short term memory loss. Have you not been out in the yard lately? Remember those two raised beds you built a couple months ago?!? The ones where I planted all the vegetable plants and seeds? The freezer isn't the only place to find veggies. That should be the LAST place to look. Maybe I should let him take over the garden duties so he can remember where to find the veggies.
And today is father's day. The kids had a great time celebrating their daddy. We made him breakfast in bed, sent him on a scavenger hunt, and let him eat cheesy sausages for dinner (with garden veggies of course).
I'm thankful for the memories I have of my dad and my grandfathers.
