240: Q: Do you know what they do to you when you cut-up at the fire station?

Photobucket

A: They make you walk around with a 45 lb. air tank strapped to your back. Not so easy when you're a 60 lb. 8-year old.

The cub scouts got the VIP tour at the fire station. Pretty much everything was hands on. Oliver got to start up one of the trucks. They showed us the ladder. We all got to go for a ride. I even got to blast the water cannon. Awesome. No wonder so many kids want to be firefighters when they "grow up." I'm grateful for those who arranged a great activity for the cubs and their families.

That is so cool. All my fieldtrips to fire stations and none of that!

What is cut-up?

I like the view point of the ladder.

it was a bit strange to see firemen in camo military uniforms. It was the best fire department field I've ever been on. It's on the Langley Air Force Base, one of the Dad's a fireman there.
