241: Aidan's big day

Photobucket

As soon as we started the opening song I was crying. But as I focused on Aidan I was able to relax and enjoy everything that was going on. I'm so proud of him and his decision to be baptized. He did fantastic. I don't know why I was so stressed. Rick had to do re-do the baptism because he didn't get the wording quite right the first time and one of the kids watching shouted, "Alright! Double dunk!" It was so funny. Then the plug in the font was stuck so Rick got to do some swimming to get it out. Things rarely go as planned with our family, but that's what makes great memories. By the time it was all done I felt so peaceful and happy. I hope Aidan felt that way, too. I'm grateful for special days.

Congrats to Aiden! How exciting for your family. Each one is just as special!
(This would be a great one for the calendar, too!)
