I had everyone write a little something about themselves (favorite things, goals, etc.) then we stuck them in an envelope to be opened at our next New Year's Eve party. I can't wait to see what everyone wrote. I'm grateful Aidan stayed up to watch the ball drop with me. Rick was snoring on the sofa.

That's an interesting, fun sounding idea. It will be fun to see how much the kids have changed in a year!
