It's been a while since we took the dogs to the beach, but today it was clear that this would be Simon's last visit. Rick had to carry him back to the car because he just couldn't make the walk. It made me so sad.

I didn't want to look at the picture...but I'm glad I did. Weeping, but what a priceless picture. I think the dog beaches in Heaven must look like this a little bit... Thanks for sharing such a private moment.
