I hope they have warm clothes. Are they going to the base in Anchorage? I had a friend who lived there and a cousin who was stationed there when they had that big earthquake! What's a Polynesian going to do in Alaska. There's a glacier not very far from Anchorage. I wish them good luck. I loved Alaska! Long days and long nights during certain parts of the year. But they'll see great aurora borealis displays and sun dogs. I really hope they aren't going to Fairbanks. I understand it's location makes people susceptible to depression due to the long winter nights. I'll miss not seeing them in Virginia. I know you will really miss them. They are a great family. It's expensive to live anywhere in Alaska. And I could go on and on about Alaska! Sorry, I guess I got a little carried away.
Hello, my name is Shauna. I photograph everything and everyone. I was formally educated in zoology as a wildlife biologist and ecologist but my current full-time occupation has me doing laundry, washing dishes, playing at the park, scrubbing toilets, cooking meals and packing lunches, kissing owies, helping with homework, building Lego castles, balancing the budget, mowing the lawn, planning picnics, cleaning up vomit, volunteering for the PTA, and booking the occasional vacation.

They've lived there before so they know what to expect.
