Until last year I have only tried to grow strawberries in New Mexico where they didn't thrive at all. Last spring I planted a couple plants but the birds got the few berries that were produced. Those few plants from last year have completely taken over the bed this spring. There's no room for my herbs now. And the plants are full of flowers! I hope there are enough for the birds to share.
