128: Mothers Day--revised

Photobucket

After last year's big mothers day let down I decided this year, instead of setting myself up for disappointment, I would show my kids how much I enjoy being their mom. Kids will be kids and they will bicker with their sibs and throw their clothes on floor and not eat all their dinner. So today I made their favorite foods, played their games for the gazillionth time, read all their favorite stories, told them about the day they were each born, picked up their clothes without nagging, and really, truly enjoyed being a mom. It was a very happy mothers day.

Hi Shauna,
You may not remember me, but we lived in Hampton for 3 years and were in the Todds Lane ward (inactive until about a year before we moved oct 2006). You came to the baby shower that Corey gave me and I never forgot that. I never forgot the women who came to a strangers baby shower. At the time we moved you only had one baby. Your children are adorable. Anyway, I love your pictures. You are an excellent photographer and I check your blog for inspiration. It actually makes me miss Virginia. I think I will take this approch to mothers day next year.
