184: Day off from cooking

Photobucket

Saturday and Sunday are Rick's days to cook dinner. It typically involves either something boxed from the freezer or a very complicated dish that requires every pan in the house. Today he decided to try making pulled pork bbq on the grill. Rick hasn't had much luck with grilling in the past, but he decided to give it one last try. If this failed, he vowed to put the grill on the curb. He got real hard wood briquettes and apple wood chips for smoking and tended that roast for 3 hours on the grill. He made a dry rub and a mop sauce. He also made toasted garlic/cilantro bread. It was soooo good. I think it's gone to his head. Now he wants a new, bigger grill.

Yum! Brilliant cilantro bread! Why have I never thought of that. I'm proud of him! I dream of big grills (like Tyler has!)
