My favorite part of PTA nights is that I get to wander the halls and see all the art projects. Under the NYC skyline the kids copied down the names of every person that died in the attack. I thought it was pretty neat.
Hello, my name is Shauna. I photograph everything and everyone. I was formally educated in zoology as a wildlife biologist and ecologist but my current full-time occupation has me doing laundry, washing dishes, playing at the park, scrubbing toilets, cooking meals and packing lunches, kissing owies, helping with homework, building Lego castles, balancing the budget, mowing the lawn, planning picnics, cleaning up vomit, volunteering for the PTA, and booking the occasional vacation.

wow.
Seeing all those papers with names is a good reminder of just how many lost their lives that day.
That choked me up. What a great tribute and idea for the kids. (It's nice to see real handwriting and not computer writing in the halls!)
