7th Annual Family Campout--Stone Mountain State Park, North Carolina

Every year my big sister and I drag our families out camping.  This year my little brother and his family joined us.
Making a game plan for the day.

Our very helpful park staff.  All that rain can wreak havoc on a septic system.

Drying all the sleeping bags and pillows after a rainy night.  I think it rained for 5 hours straight.

Then off to Wally mart for a tarp to go over our tent.

After getting all the equipment to stray dry for our rainy weekend, finally, some fun camping adventures.

Trying to build a fire in the rain.  We gotta have s'mores!

 Our favorite tradition--Wade's campfire pancakes.

What we want everyone to think we look like on our campout.
What we really look like.  The gnats were pretty bad this year.
 The talent show audience.
Scott did a hilarious Trolololo guy.

 More rain.

The kids hunkering down while the grown ups try to pack up in the rain.

 Saying good bye.

Not sorry I missed the rain, sorry I wasn't able to make the East coast get together. Looks like everyone had lots of fun, despite the rain and gnats.
