Don Quixote

Sophie's spring recital was Don Quixote.  I have to admit I didn't actually know the story.  I did know that it wasn't about a donkey, though, which the kids were quite disappointed to find out.  It's about a girl who wants to marry a barber, but her parents want her to marry someone rich, instead.  It all works out in the end, with Don Quixote's help, of course.

Sophie always enjoys the costumes and makeup, and this year her class got to have two dances.  They were puppets and also guests at the wedding.  A wedding!  My little dancer was thrilled.
