Here are some of the photos Aidan took. Man, I need to think like a 6-year old!
And here are a couple of mine:
We went to the Neptune Festival to see the North American Sand Sculpture Championship. It was amazing. We also saw some of the surfing and volleyball competitions. It was a long exhausting day, but I'm grateful the family humored me.
Hello, my name is Shauna. I photograph everything and everyone. I was formally educated in zoology as a wildlife biologist and ecologist but my current full-time occupation has me doing laundry, washing dishes, playing at the park, scrubbing toilets, cooking meals and packing lunches, kissing owies, helping with homework, building Lego castles, balancing the budget, mowing the lawn, planning picnics, cleaning up vomit, volunteering for the PTA, and booking the occasional vacation.

Lucky! I have always wanted to go to a sand sculpture contest. That sculpture is so amazing.
I love watching sand sculpture contests on tv! That is cool you got to go and see one in person.
I love the expression on the pirates faces!
Looks really cool. The night one is cool, too. Is it close to you?
I didn't realize that was sand 'til I read your post. Holy Cow that is incredible. What a super fun day.
Sounds like a nice day. Glad you were able to enjoy the festival.
Can tell he's got your genes. Does he have a kid camera or an old one? He's good!
He's using my old Sony.
