Rick found this in his mail box at work today. Yum. Nobody wanted to try it. I've been there and done that one already. It's awful when one of those spiny little legs gets stuck in your throat. And in case you were wondering...
I'm grateful for introducing my kids to new foods.
My kids still talk about the time they ate some of those. Yuck! Too gross for me. Chandler was a little unsettled when he recently found out those were REAL crickets he had eaten. I guess he thought it was just food that looked like a cricket.
Hello, my name is Shauna. I photograph everything and everyone. I was formally educated in zoology as a wildlife biologist and ecologist but my current full-time occupation has me doing laundry, washing dishes, playing at the park, scrubbing toilets, cooking meals and packing lunches, kissing owies, helping with homework, building Lego castles, balancing the budget, mowing the lawn, planning picnics, cleaning up vomit, volunteering for the PTA, and booking the occasional vacation.

That's great. I would love to have them for when I teach insects! hehehe
Did your kids eat them!!! Yuck! I am more than happy to feed them to Ashlyn's toads, but none for my belly.
Love that, "the other Green meat."
