I've tried growing sunflowers the past couple years, but either they didn't sprout or they got trampled before they flowered. Crossing my fingers for this year. I'm grateful for persistence.

Maybe they're just in a spot where they can't get trampled this year.
Hope they produce seeds for you and your birds and kids.
