I see you hiding there in the tall grass under the patio table. I wonder if you have any friends? I'm grateful for things that can survive the summer without a lot of effort from me.
Hello, my name is Shauna. I photograph everything and everyone. I was formally educated in zoology as a wildlife biologist and ecologist but my current full-time occupation has me doing laundry, washing dishes, playing at the park, scrubbing toilets, cooking meals and packing lunches, kissing owies, helping with homework, building Lego castles, balancing the budget, mowing the lawn, planning picnics, cleaning up vomit, volunteering for the PTA, and booking the occasional vacation.

Cool! I've never been able to grow pumpkins.
I would be nice if it had enough friends for each of your kids to have a home grown jack-o-lantern!
So far I've found 4!
YAY! I love when the leaves finally die and you find a ton of hiders! Thanks for a little bit of Autumn. Ahhhh
