The only thing I don't like about summer is the mosquitoes. As soon as I step out the door they swarm. Like little kamikaze pilots. It makes it so hard to enjoy being outside working in the gardens, playing, grilling, etc. My tiny herb and veg garden is in a dire state of neglect because of those harbingers of itchiness and unattractive legs. [Has anyone tried those little personal mosquito repellent fans? Let me know how effective they are.] However, I am grateful for pretty things that almost make me forget about those buggers.

I seem to remember that mosquitoes appear to like you more than everyone else.
So pretty. I've been searching for those fans. Can't find them.
Wonder how you and I got cursed to be liked by misquitos and I can think of lots of things I'd rather have attracted to me.
